HDMI Connection
Each screen can also operate using HDMI — simply connect one HDMI cable per display to transmit the video signal.
Since HDMI only carries the image, the monitor must also be powered separately, either through a USB-C connection or an external power supply.
Mixed Connectivity
It is also possible to use different connections for each screen. One display can be connected via USB-C, while the other operates through HDMI. This flexible setup allows you to adapt easily to the ports available on your device.

These were a gift for my husband. He loves them. He hooked them to his laptop as soon as he could (We had company, at the time.) They are always attached with the exception of having to put his laptop away. I think, at this point, he’d be lost without these.

Provides enhanced production with Laptop.
Unit worked as described. Great for traveling to have four monitors available. Still learning the total use of the unit. One thing I would suggest is a bit more diagrams on hooking up the unit with Laptop power supply and the monitors so all work in unison. Over all I will enjoy the unit.
